Links Here a few people and sites I trust and like. The rest is up to you... Darren Bennett - Darren is based in Salisbury, like me. He is a fantastic illustrator and runs his own design practice: DB Design. Check out Darren's work for me here. Sally Bibb - Sal is a friend, a client and a damn fine author of books on the way business works - or ought to. She's also an expert employee engagement consultant. Scott Keyser - Scott and I run Write for Results (the weblink's below) but he is also an authority on preparing for and winning competitive tenders. Charles Kingsmill - strategy, branding, thinking differently, never saying in 100 words what he can say in 10 and a conversational oyster-knife. It's my mate Charles. Jon Moon - Jon teaches people how to show information with clarity and impact. His signature dish is WiT, a high-powered alternative layout to bullet points. Salix - what Mo and Pete don't know about modelling and cascading excellent performance isn't worth knowing. They train Sky's call centre staff so take from that what you will! Ross Speirs - a great friend and the best designer I have ever worked with. Passionate about detail and a direct mail expert. (He also once went to a football match with Steve McQueen.) Writing4business - a site owned by my publishers, Marshall Cavendish, showcasing my three copywriting books. And here are my other sites... Sunfish - the company I co-founded with my fellow copywriter Jo Kelly in 1996 to help clients achieve their marketing goals through better copywriting and design. Write For Results - my business writing training company, co-founded with Scott Keyser. The Economist is a client. Write to Sell - microsite for my first book on copywriting. Sold 4,000 copies in two years. Not bad! 100 Great Copywriting Ideas - microsite for my second book on copywriting. Too busy to read a whole book in one go? This one is packed with bite-sized chunks of inspiration. The Copywriting Sourcebook - microsite for his third book on copywriting. How to write 12 different kinds of marketing copy, from websites to sales letters. YouTube channel - because stills on the web are so last century. Twitter - well, you have to don't you! Blog - ditto. Squidoo - OK, so you don't have to, but I thought I would. |
